Cue Club 2 sends you on a ten-stop tour of British pub 8-ball pool, from Leeds to Crystal Palace, against opponents who even chalk their cues and sometimes bottle a shot. Its creator built it with GPT-5.5, working across Codex, ChatGPT and Cursor.
OpenAI released GPT-5.5 to the API on April 24, 2026 and pitches it at coding and complex professional work. It reads text and images, so you can show it a screenshot of what's broken, and its context window of just over a million tokens fits a lot of code at once.
In the API it costs $5 per million input tokens and $30 per million output tokens, and a prompt past 272K tokens costs double for input and half again as much for output. Through the Responses API it can also call OpenAI's built-in tools, image generation and computer use included.
It had a pretty short run at the top, since the GPT-5.6 family arrived in July and GPT-6 Astra in September. OpenAI scheduled its retirement from ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work and Codex on every plan for October 14, and that retirement doesn't cover the API.
What each of the 3 was made with, where it plays and how it placed, as its creator named it.
