Last Charge

Last Charge is a deckbuilding roguelike set in a world ruled by Machines, where one human Citadel remains. Each expedition is a numbered Charge. In a fight, you get Amps every turn and decide for each card in hand: play it for its printed cost, or charge it to level it up for the rest of the fight. Charging locks the card for that turn.

Every charge raises a Trace meter. At 6, a Sentinel joins the fight and the meter resets without returning to zero, so greed has a price. Enemies show their next action and damage, and route nodes reveal their threat rating up front. The 34 cards use four keywords: Grounded, Discharge, Feedback, and Conduit. Six bosses and several enemy types, including Armored Crawlers, Scanners, and Agents, change how you build.

Between runs, Salvage lights up Citadel Districts, but stronger districts raise the difficulty. Failing three Charges lets Sentinels breach the wall and disable districts on your map. With 50 Salvage you can reach a final battle with uncapped Trace and endless waves. It runs in the browser or as an offline PWA, with mouse, keyboard, touch, and gamepad support. The creator's disclosure says AI assisted with code, graphics, sounds, and text.
