Starfall

Starfall is a one-on-one space combat game in which two spaceships fight until one is destroyed. Each match is a single duel: you maneuver your ship, line up shots, and try to outlast the opponent in a fight where there is no retreat once the battle begins.

The game is an homage to the Melee mode from Star Control 2, and that lineage shapes its focus on a compact arena duel rather than a long campaign. It sits in the action and shooter space, built around quick, direct encounters between two craft. Starfall was entered in Vibe Jam 2026 and runs on a canvas.

The creator built it with Codex and named the tool's ability to generate images internally as the standout help, saying it saved a great deal of time. That meant the visual art could come from the same tool that handled the coding work, which kept the project moving during the jam.
