About Node Control

Inside a neural network, players battle for control of nodes in Node Control, a competitive multiplayer .io game. You fight other players for influence over the network in real time by extending trails, infecting nodes and contesting territory, on a computer or a phone, with Three.js rendering the network.

The creator's aim with Claude Code was to show that AI can already help ship a commercially viable game. They also put work into the stack around it: netcode, multi-region deployment, telemetry and an ad-friendly structure. It finished 111th of 945 entries at Vibe Jam 2026.

It aims to be easy to pick up while leaving room to improve. Boost timing, trail length, contested infections and the choice between extending a trail or closing it all shape how a round goes.
