About Rimehold

Rimehold: Siege of the Frozen Pass is a mazing tower defense game that runs in the browser in 3D. You hold a snowbound pass against creeps by placing towers so they form the maze the enemies have to walk.

Before a run you pick a watch, the game's word for difficulty. Recruit is billed as a gentle introduction to mazing, with 60 lives, 360 starting gold, half-strength creeps and bigger bounties. Warden is the intended challenge at 40 lives and 300 gold. Warlord and Rimebound drop to 25 and 15 lives with less gold and smaller bounties, and Rimebound's own card says only the perfect maze survives.

The mazing idea comes from Warcraft 3 custom maps, which the creator names as the reference. According to the creator's submission, they left every design decision to Claude and built the game with Claude Code, using Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Sonnet 5.5. The title screen calls it an original game built with Three.js with no external assets.

It's a single-player game for anyone who misses the tower defense maps of the Warcraft 3 era and wants a clear difficulty ladder to climb.
