About Mars Rally Championship
Mars Rally Championship takes rally racing to the red planet. You drive a rally car across the Martian surface through a championship, and the goal in every race is to finish ahead of the rest of the competition.
The idea comes from the prospect of crewed missions to Mars becoming real in the near future. The creator used Claude Code, with Three.js for the 3D graphics; it ended up 229th of 945 at Vibe Jam 2026 and plays in a desktop browser as well as on phones.
It is a single-player game, so each race is a solo effort to chase a better result than the last one. The setting is the main hook: the rally circuit is laid out on the red planet instead of somewhere on Earth.
