About the game

In this short exploration game, you wander a sky island at night that has crumbled into drifting dust. You play a small paper-lantern spirit, and color comes back to anything your warm light falls on. Each ember you find sends a spark to a landmark, a lighthouse, a keeper's cottage, a blossom tree or a shrine arch, and that landmark restores itself.

With all four standing, a fifth ember turns up on the lighthouse gallery and an updraft lifts you to it. Lighting the lamp brings a whale gathering itself out of the stars. An old lighthouse keeper speaks a few quiet lines along the way. You can play with keyboard and mouse or with touch controls.

Everything you see is drawn with about 1.7 million Gaussian splats rather than triangles. We built the models from Codex drawings in Blender 5.3, turned them into splats with Geometry Nodes, and the game draws them with Three.js and the Spark library. The sound effects are synthesised in code.

It ranks #230 of 571 games all-time. How rankings work

Codex (GPT-6.1 Sol) drew a front and a side view of every model. Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) wrote the Blender Python that rebuilt them as painted models, the Geometry Nodes group that turned them into Blender 5.3's native Gaussian splats, the exporter, the game code and the sound synthesis. VoxCPM2 performed the keeper's voice.
