About the game
You start on the final turn with six energy, behind in all three lanes, and only one sequence of plays wins the match from there. Card order matters, because it decides where your cards end up and which bonuses they get.
No turn after this one, and an opponent who makes no further plays. Reveal effects that resolve in the order you play your cards. Tidewright, a card that moves your weakest other ally to the next lane. Two Lone Spire lanes, where a side with exactly one card gets +5 power. Driftling, already on the board, gaining +3 whenever it moves. Guest play in the browser, no account needed.

Drag cards from your hand onto lanes and press End Turn when you're done. Tap or hold a card or location to read its effect. Win more lanes than your opponent, and if that's tied, higher total power wins.
Cross Current is a final-turn puzzle from Sixth Sigil, Eric Crook's free browser card game, which used to be called Aether Vanguard. The game's site says its graphics and narrative text are AI-generated and its code is AI-assisted.
