About The Underground

The Underground is a roguelike adventure that sends you into a network of dark, subway-style tunnels with a timer running. You open locked doors, track down hidden artifacts, and work out where to go before the clock runs out.

The idea came from the creator's curiosity about what lies down the dark tunnels you see from a subway train, such as abandoned stations or old bunkers. The Vibe Jam 2026 build runs on Three.js and was made with Cursor, and it ranked 408th of 945.

The layout is procedurally generated rather than hand-built, so the network is endless in principle and each descent leads somewhere different. Other players can leave clues for you to find, which turns the search into a loose collaboration between strangers.
