TDShooter is a top-down shooter with somewhere to go. You shoot enemies from above while moving around the map, and along the way there are quests to complete. Finishing them opens up new zones to explore, so the playable area grows as you go, quest by quest.
Cursor was in the creator's toolkit for this PixiJS game, and it finished 279th of 945 in Vibe Jam 2026. It supports online multiplayer, so the shooting and the questing can be shared with other people, on a phone or tablet as well as in a desktop browser.
Zone unlocking gives the shooting a sense of progression beyond simply surviving waves: a session is a loop of shooting, completing objectives, and pushing into fresh areas of the map.
