Riders Of The Nine Planes

Riders Of The Nine Planes is a roguelike where you play a cavalier on horseback. Charging around is your main action, and each charge builds up energy. Number keys 1 through 6 commit a charge at a target, sometimes a wall, and choose which spell to discharge. Standing still leaves you vulnerable, so every move needs planning.

The game is meant to grow beyond its roguelike start into a fuller RPG and eventually a strategy layer, where the goal is to become Emperor Of The Known Multiverse. You can also ignore those layers and smash around the dungeon like an old arcade or UMoria-style run. Hidden spells unlock later, and you can save your journey and continue it from the title screen.

The creator made it for AI Browser Game Jam 4 and describes it as AI assisted in code, graphics, sounds, and text. The music is composed by the creator and is not AI generated, while the sound effects are procedural. Some parts of the wider game are still sealed off, and the interface is still being worked out.
