About Pictomaze
Pictomaze takes the kind of maze you would draw on paper and puts it on a screen. You trace a route from the start to the exit through 2D mazes with a hand-drawn look, and the game is built to be simple and quick to pick up.
The idea comes from the creator's school days, when they and a friend sketched mazes on paper and played them with a finger and some imagination. Codex was used to build it for Vibe Jam 2026, with Three.js for rendering even though the play itself is flat and two-dimensional, like the paper original.
It works on phones and desktops alike and keeps the plain, approachable feel of a doodled puzzle: find the way out, then start on the next maze.
