About My-Island
My Island is a relaxed city-builder set on a small patch of sand. You start with one Town Hall, place homes and businesses from the shop, and tap buildings to collect the coins they earn over time. Those coins go back into new buildings, upgrades, and decorations as the island fills in.
Decor raises Happiness, which multiplies all income, and upgrading the Town Hall raises the island level, unlocks new buildings, and expands the land from 9x9 to 15x15. Driftwood, shells, and wild coconuts wash up on the shore for bonus coins and rare Shells. Pip the parrot wanders the beaches, a nod to the jam's Familiar theme. There are 14 buildings, a golden-hour day cycle, drifting clouds, and sailboats, with progress saved in the browser.
The creator describes the development as heavily AI-assisted, built with Phaser 3 and TypeScript. All art and the generative soundtrack are produced procedurally in code, so the game uses no third-party assets. It was made for AI Browser Game Jam 3.
