About Hot Poursuit
One player is a thief and the rest are hunting them in Hot Poursuit, an online pursuit game inspired by Scotland Yard. The thief tries to slip away, and the investigators try to track the target down, so the two sides want opposite things.
A round centers on the chase itself, played online with other people from a desktop browser or a phone. It was put together in the Cursor code editor during Vibe Jam 2026, according to the creator.
The hunt is for a hidden target. As a pursuer, you have to work out where the thief has gone and cut off the escape routes before you can close in and make the catch. As the thief, you keep moving and try to stay out of reach.
