The List's Champion

The List's Champion puts you behind a knight's visor for a first-person jousting tournament. Each pass starts when the marshal lifts his flag. You charge down the course, aim the lance at the opponent's armor, and brace as the two of you meet.

Rivals get tougher as the tournament goes on. Each one rides in a different style, wears a different armor setup, and fights with its own tactics. A lance can fail in four distinct ways, and each has its own sound.

A Training Mode lets you practice timing, balance, and aim before you enter the tournament. The lance comes with seven interchangeable heads. The creator settled the lance weight, the timing window, and the scoring weights by playtesting.

All sprite art came from text prompts, including the knight and horse as separate posed pieces, the crowd, and the field details. Every sound effect and all five music loops are synthesized by a generated Python program, and the game has no voice acting.
